While the overall threat for seeing severe weather is generally low...a few strong to severe thunderstorms could be seen. Damaging winds and large hail will be the primary threat with the strongest storms. Locally heavy rainfall will also be possible. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday Thunderstorms remain in the forecast across the area for Friday into Friday night before chances decrease over the weekend. The overall severe weather threat remains low at this time...but a strong to severe thunderstorm is possible. Damaging winds and some large hail could be seen with the strongest storms. Some locally heavy rainfall could also be seen. From Sunday through early next week...a period of above normal temperatures is expected to persist across the state. Daily highs are expected to approach or exceed 90 degrees in many locations...with heat index values in the upper 90s at times. .Spotter Information Statement...
