This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Some morning severe thunderstorms will remain possible until about
sunrise east and northeast sections...then expect mainly dry
conditions into the afternoon hours.

More thunderstorms will develop late this afternoon and mainly
this evening into the overnight hours as a cold front drops
southeast through the state. Severe thunderstorms look likely
with this activity...with all hazards expected. Very large hail
larger than golf balls and 70 mph wind gusts will be the primary
threats...but a few tornadoes will also be possible. Some locally
heavy rainfall may lead to an isolated flash flood threat as
well.

Expect the threat for severe weather to decrease late tonight and
near sunrise Thursday as the activity drops southeast of the
area.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will linger on Thursday
across the southern half Arkansas before cooler, drier, and more
seasonal air returns Friday into the weekend.

.Spotter Information Statement...

Spotter activation will may be needed late this afternoon into the
overnight hours.
