This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Arizona...northeast Arizona and west central Arizona.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Wind speeds will increase through the end of the work week.
These increased winds will combine with low humidity to produce
areas of critical fire weather conditions across north central and
eastern Arizona Thursday afternoon, and a Wind Advisory and a Red
Flag Warning have been issued for Coconino, Apache, and Navajo
counties. Both the advisory and the warning are from 11 AM
through 8 PM MST Thursday. Critical fire conditions may be
possible again Friday afternoon.

...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM TO 8 PM MST
THURSDAY...

* TIMING...Winds will increase Thursday through the daylight
  hours as strong winds mix to the surface.

* WINDS...Sustained southwest winds of 20 to 35 mph with gusts of
  40 to 50 mph are expected from late morning through the early
  evening hours Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will make travel in high profile
  vehicles difficult. Strong winds may result in areas of
  blowing dust and reduced visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 30 to 39 mph...or
gusts from 40 to 57 mph...are expected. Winds this strong can
make driving difficult...especially for high profile vehicles.
Consider securing loose belongings on your property. Additional

...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM TO 8 PM MST THURSDAY FOR
STRONG WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR COCONINO AND APACHE
COUNTIES...

The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has issued a Red Flag
Warning, which is in effect from 11 AM to 8 PM MST Thursday.

* 20 FOOT WIND...West-southwest 20 to 25 MPH gusting to 40 MPH.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...8 to 14 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring or are imminent. A combination of strong
winds and low relative humidities can contribute to extreme fire
behavior.

Please notify field crews of this Red Flag Warning.
