THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTHWESTERN CALIFORNIA.

.DAY ONE... TODAY AND TONIGHT

GUSTY WEST WINDS WILL DEVELOP TODAY ACROSS THE ANTELOPE VALLEY.
EXPECT GUSTS TO 45 MPH BY THIS AFTERNOON. THERE WILL BE PATCHY
BLOWING DUST TODAY. THIS WILL CONTINUE INTO TONIGHT WHERE GUSTS WILL
INCREASE TO AROUND 50 TO 55 MPH. THERE WILL BE GUSTY WINDS ACROSS
THE WESTERN PORTION OF THE SANTA BARBARA SOUTH COAST INCLUDING
GAVIOTA TO GOLETA AND THE ADJACENT HILLS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN... SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

WINDS WILL STRENGTHEN ACROSS THE ANTELOPE VALLEY BY SATURDAY
MORNING. THERE WILL BE THE POTENTIAL FOR WIND GUSTS TO 60 MPH.
STRONGEST ACROSS THE WESTERN PORTION. HIGHWAYS 14 AND 138 COULD BE
AFFECTED WITH NEAR ZERO VISIBILITY DUE TO BLOWING SAND AND DUST
SATURDAY THROUGH EARLY SATURDAY EVENING. THERE WILL LIKELY BE
ADDITIONAL WIND ADVISORIES FOR THE MOUNTAINS AND POSSIBLY CENTRAL
COAST AS WELL SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENINGS. WINDS WILL SHIFT TO
THE NORTHEAST FOR A WEAK TO LOCALLY MODERATE SANTA ANA WIND EVENT ON
MONDAY MORNING. AT THIS TIME WINDS SHOULD BE JUST BELOW WIND
ADVISORY THRESHOLDS.

GALE WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR ALL OUTER WATERS FROM SATURDAY NIGHT
THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT. THERE WILL BE THE POTENTIAL FOR WIND GUSTS TO
35 KNOTS.
