AT 335 PM PDT...DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO INDICATE A CLUSTER OF
STRONG THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS NORTHWEST
LOS ANGELES COUNTY AND NORTHEAST VENTURA COUNTY. FLASH FLOODING WILL
CONTINUE TO IMPACT THE WARNING AREA THROUGH 545 PM...INCLUDING
INTERSTATE 5 AND HIGHWAY 138. THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL BETWEEN 240 AND
340 PM HAS OCCURRED ALONG INTERSTATE 5 NEAR PYRAMID LAKE AND CASTAIC
LAKE...WHERE DOPPLER RADAR HAS ESTIMATED OVER 2 INCHES PER HOUR.

EXCESSIVE RAINFALL OVER THE WARNED AREA WILL CAUSE MUD AND ROCK
SLIDES NEAR STEEP TERRAIN...POTENTIALLY IMPACTING PORTIONS OF
INTERSTATE 5 AND HIGHWAY 138.

TONIGHT. THE BEST CHANCES OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE OVER THE
MOUNTAINS...DESERTS AND INTERIOR SECTIONS...BUT THERE WILL EVEN BE
THE POSSIBILITY OF THUNDERSTORMS OVER COASTAL AND COASTAL VALLEY
AREAS. IN THE MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS...THE STORMS COULD BE INTENSE
ENOUGH TO GENERATE FLASH FLOODING. MUD AND DEBRIS FLOWS ARE POSSIBLE
