...SOUTH SWELL TO CREATE HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK TONIGHT THROUGH
SUNDAY...

.A LONG PERIOD SOUTH SWELL MOVING INTO THE COASTAL WATERS WILL
CONTINUE THROUGH SUNDAY. SOUTH FACING BEACHES WILL GET THE HIGHEST
SURF...BUT ALL BEACHES WILL GET STRONG RIP CURRENTS AND LONGSHORE
CURRENTS THROUGH THE WEEKEND. THE LONG PERIOD WILL SHORTEN ON
SUNDAY AND CURRENTS WILL REDUCE DURING THE DAY.

* TIMING...THROUGH SUNDAY.

* IMPACTS...STRONG RIP CURRENTS PRODUCING HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS
  FOR BEACH GOERS...PARTICULARLY FRIDAY AND SATURDAY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

USE CAUTION WHEN IN OR NEAR THE WATER AND ALWAYS SWIM NEAR A
LIFEGUARD.

NEVER TURN YOUR BACK TO THE OCEAN.

A BEACH HAZARDS STATEMENT IS ISSUED WHEN THREATS SUCH AS STRONG
RIP CURRENTS...ELEVATED SURF HEIGHTS...MINOR TIDAL OVERFLOW...OR
LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE AT LOCAL BEACHES. OBEY POSTED WARNING
SIGNS AND FLAGS AND TALK TO A LIFEGUARD BEFORE SWIMMING.
