AFTERNOON AND EVENING...

...MODERATE TO STRONG OFFSHORE FLOW DEVELOPING SUNDAY THROUGH
TUESDAY...

.STRENGTHENING ONSHORE FLOW FROM A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVING
INLAND THROUGH NORTHERN CALIFORNIA AND THE GREAT BASIN WILL
CREATE GUSTY WEST WINDS OVER THE MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS THIS
AFTERNOON THROUGH EARLY SUNDAY MORNING. ONSHORE FLOW FROM THE
SYSTEM WILL GRADUALLY DIMINISH EARLY SUNDAY AND TRANSITION TO
OFFSHORE FLOW SUNDAY THROUGH TUESDAY ACROSS COASTAL MOUNTAIN
SLOPES...COASTAL FOOTHILLS AND WESTERN VALLEYS. STRONGEST EAST TO
NORTHEAST ARE EXPECTED ON TUESDAY...WITH CONDITIONS SLOWLY
IMPROVING THROUGH FRIDAY.

* TIMING...WINDS INCREASING THIS AFTERNOON AND CONTINUING
  THROUGH EARLY SUNDAY MORNING.

* LOCATION...ALONG DESERT MOUNTAIN SLOPES INTO ADJACENT DESERT
  AREAS.

* VISIBILITY...IN THE DESERTS LOCALLY REDUCED IN BLOWING DUST AT
  TIMES.

* IMPACTS...STRONG GUSTY WINDS WILL MAKE DRIVING HAZARDOUS...
  ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES. WATCH FOR BROKEN TREE
  LIMBS AND LOCALIZED BLOWING DUST.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT WINDS OF 35 MPH ARE EXPECTED. WINDS
THIS STRONG CAN MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT...ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH
