...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY ABOVE 7500 FEET FOR THE MOUNTAINS OF SAN
BERNARDINO AND RIVERSIDE COUNTIES FOR THIS EVENING...

.A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVING NORTHEASTWARD ACROSS SOUTHERN
CALIFORNIA WILL BRING SNOWFALL TO THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF THE
MOUNTAINS OF SAN BERNARDINO AND RIVERSIDE COUNTIES. SNOW LEVELS
WILL LOWER TO AROUND 7500 FEET WITH THE PERIOD OF MOST SIGNIFICANT
SNOWFALL EXPECTED FROM LATE AFTERNOON INTO THIS EVENING.

MIDNIGHT PST TONIGHT ABOVE 7500 FEET...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SAN DIEGO HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY ABOVE 7500 FEET FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT
FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO MIDNIGHT PST TONIGHT.

* ELEVATION... ABOVE 7500 FEET.

* SNOW LEVELS...LOWERING TO AROUND 7500 FEET FOR LATE THIS
  AFTERNOON THROUGH TONIGHT.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...4 TO 8 INCHES.

* TIMING...LIGHTER SNOWFALL IS POSSIBLE TODAY ON THE HIGHER PEAKS.
  THE MAIN PERIOD OF ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL ABOVE 7500 FEET IS
  EXPECTED FOR LATE AFTERNOON INTO THIS EVENING.

* WINDS...AREAS OF SOUTH TO SOUTHEAST WINDS 15 TO 25 MPH.

* VISIBILITY...LOCALLY REDUCED BELOW ONE MILE AT TIMES IN
  SNOW...BLOWING SNOW...AND FOG.

* IMPACTS...RESIDENTS AND TRAVELERS INTO HIGHER ELEVATIONS IN THE
  MOUNTAINS SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS
  DUE TO SLICK ROADS. IF POSSIBLE...CARRY CHAINS AND TAKE EXTRA
  FOOD AND CLOTHING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW WILL CAUSE
TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SLIPPERY ROADS AND LIMITED
VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING.
