.A SLOW MOVING LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL BRING SCATTERED SHOWERS
AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS TO THE MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS THIS
EVENING. BANDS OF HEAVIER SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS COULD
CAUSE AREAS OF SMALL STREAM FLOODING AND ISOLATED FLASH FLOODING
REPORTS.

EVENING...

THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES FOR

* A PORTION OF SOUTHWEST CALIFORNIA...INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING
  AREAS...APPLE AND LUCERNE VALLEYS...COACHELLA VALLEY...
  RIVERSIDE COUNTY MOUNTAINS...SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY MOUNTAINS...
   SAN DIEGO COUNTY DESERTS...SAN DIEGO COUNTY MOUNTAINS AND SAN
  GORGONIO PASS NEAR BANNING.

* UNTIL 9 PM PDT THIS EVENING

* A SLOW MOVING LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL BRING SCATTERED SHOWERS
  AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS THROUGH EARLY EVENING WITH AREAS OF
  HEAVY RAIN AT TIMES.

* POOR DRAINAGE AND LOW WATER CROSSINGS WILL BE MOST SUSCEPTIBLE
  TO POSSIBLE FLASH FLOODING...AS WELL AS PREVIOUS FIRE BURN
  SCARS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION
SHOULD FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS BE ISSUED.
