STORM WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM SUNDAY TO 6 PM PST
MONDAY.

* SNOW LEVELS...NEAR 5500 FEET EARLY SUNDAY...RISING TO AROUND
  7000 FEET EARLY SUNDAY EVENING...THEN FALLING TO 5000 FEET LATE
  SUNDAY NIGHT...AND AROUND 3500 FEET MONDAY.

* WINDS...AREAS OF SOUTHWEST WINDS STRENGTHENING TO 25 TO 35 MPH
  WITH GUSTS TO 65 MPH...BECOMING SOUTHWEST TO WEST LATE SUNDAY
  NIGHT AND MONDAY. DAMAGING GUSTS TO 70 MPH NEAR MOUNTAIN RIDGE
  TOPS AND ALONG DESERT SLOPES FOR SUNDAY NIGHT.

* SNOW...DEVELOPING SUNDAY...BECOMING HEAVY AT TIMES FOR LATE
  SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING WITH SNOW SHOWERS CONTINUING
  THROUGH MONDAY.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...3 TO 6 INCHES FROM 4000 TO 4500 FEET...WITH
  8 TO 14 INCHES ABOVE 5000 FEET.

* VISIBILITY...NEAR ZERO AT TIMES IN SNOW...BLOWING SNOW AND FOG.

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL WILL BE DANGEROUS AT TIMES OVER THE MOUNTAINS
  DUE TO SNOW COVERED ROADS...STRONG WINDS AND LOW VISIBILITY.
  DANGEROUS CROSS WINDS EXPECTED FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES.
  WINDS MAY CAUSE STRUCTURAL DAMAGE AND KNOCK DOWN TREES AND
  POWER LINES.

* OUTLOOK...SNOW SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE AT TIMES FOR MONDAY NIGHT
  AND TUESDAY.

WILL MOVE EASTWARD TODAY WITH STRONG AND GUSTY WEST WINDS IN THE
MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS DECREASING LATER TODAY THROUGH THIS EVENING.
THE THIRD AND MOST POWERFUL IN THIS SERIES OF STORMS IS EXPECTED
TO BRING STRONG AND DAMAGING WINDS FOR LATE SUNDAY INTO MONDAY
WITH THE STRONGEST WINDS FOR LATE SUNDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH SUNDAY

* WINDS...AREAS OF WEST WINDS 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 60
  MPH...GRADUALLY DIMINISHING DURING THE EVENING.

* LOCATION...NEAR THE MOUNTAIN RIDGE TOPS ALONG THE DESERT SLOPES
  OF THE MOUNTAINS.

* IMPACTS..THE WINDS WILL MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT...ESPECIALLY FOR
  MOTORISTS WITH HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES. WATCH FOR BROKEN TREE
  LIMBS...DOWNED POWER LINES...AND OTHER DEBRIS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A HIGH WIND WARNING MEANS A HAZARDOUS HIGH WIND EVENT IS EXPECTED
OR OCCURRING. SUSTAINED WIND SPEEDS OF AT LEAST 40 MPH OR GUSTS
OF 58 MPH OR MORE CAN LEAD TO PROPERTY DAMAGE.

A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT WINDS OF 35 MPH ARE EXPECTED. WINDS
THIS STRONG CAN MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT...ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH
PROFILE VEHICLES. USE EXTRA CAUTION.
