...HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM SATURDAY TO 5 AM PDT
SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Southwest or west winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60
  mph expected in the valleys and deserts. Gusts up to 80 mph in the
  Southern Sierra.

* WHERE...White and Inyo Mountains, Eastern Sierra Slopes, Owens
  Valley, Death Valley National Park, and Esmeralda and Central Nye
  County.

* WHEN...From 11 AM Saturday to 5 AM PDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
  Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
  especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...High crosswinds will occur on sections of
  Highway 395 in the Owens Valley late Saturday afternoon and
  evening.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Watch for falling debris, tree limbs and downed power lines or
poles. Use extra caution if you must drive.
