* LOCATIONS INCLUDE THE CITIES OF...COLUMBINE...TOPONAS.

* TIMING...LIGHT SNOW THIS MORNING WILL BECOME HEAVY AT TIMES
  THIS AFTERNOON AND INTO WEDNESDAY MORNING.

* ACCUMULATION...ADDITIONAL 4 TO 8 INCHES WITH LOCALLY HIGHER
  AMOUNTS.

* WINDS...WEST 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH OVER HIGHER
  TERRAIN.

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL IS EXPECTED TO BE DIFFICULT THIS AFTERNOON
  AND OVERNIGHT.

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EASTERN UTAH AND WESTERN
COLORADO.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

MOUNTAIN SNOW WILL CONTINUE THIS MORNING. SNOW WILL INCREASE THIS
AFTERNOON AND FILL INTO THE VALLEYS AS THE NEXT WAVE IN THIS LONG
DURATION STORM MOVES ACROSS THE AREA. GUSTY WINDS WILL PERSIST AT
THE EXPOSED HIGHER TERRAIN...AND MAY MIX INTO THE VALLEYS FOR A
TIME DURING THE AFTERNOON. SNOW WILL SLOWLY DIMINISH FROM WEST TO
EAST OVERNIGHT. MUCH COOLER TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TODAY AND
TONIGHT.

SINCE LAST FRIDAY THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...A TOTAL OF 2 TO 4 FEET
OF SNOW FOR THE SAN JUANS...AND 1 TO 2 FEET OF SNOW IN CENTRAL AND
NORTHERN MOUNTAINS WILL BE EXPECTED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

A FEW SNOW SHOWERS WILL PERSIST OVER THE COLORADO MOUNTAINS ON
WEDNESDAY...MAINLY NEAR THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE. THE NORTHERN
DIVIDE MOUNTAINS WILL THEN HAVE ANOTHER CHANCE OF SNOW ON
SATURDAY.

COOLER...BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED THROUGH
THURSDAY.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION IS NOT EXPECTED TODAY OR TONIGHT...HOWEVER
SPOTTERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO REPORT SNOWFALL AMOUNTS TO THE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GRAND JUNCTION.
