...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 3 PM SATURDAY TO
6 PM MST MONDAY...

* TIMING...SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW WILL BEGIN LATE SATURDAY
  AFTERNOON AND CONTINUE THROUGH MONDAY AFTERNOON. THE HEAVIEST
  SNOW IS EXPECTED WITH FRONTAL PASSAGE SATURDAY NIGHT.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION...10 TO 20 INCHES IN THE MOUNTAINS. 8 TO 14
  INCHES FOR THE UPPER YAMPA RIVER BASIN.

* WINDS...WEST 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 45 MPH FOR THE
  HIGHEST ELEVATIONS.

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL WILL BECOME CHALLENGING DUE TO POOR
  VISIBILITY FROM SNOW...FOG...AND BLOWING SNOW. THIS INCLUDES
  MCCLURE...VAIL AND RABBIT EARS PASSES...HIGHWAY 65 OVER THE
  GRAND MESA AND HIGHWAY 50 OVER MONARCH PASS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER STORM WARNING MEANS SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF SNOW ARE
EXPECTED OR OCCURRING. STRONG WINDS AND BLOWING SNOW ARE ALSO
POSSIBLE. THIS WILL MAKE TRAVEL VERY HAZARDOUS OR IMPOSSIBLE.

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EASTERN UTAH AND WESTERN
COLORADO.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A FEW SNOW SHOWERS WILL BE POSSIBLE OVER THE SOUTHERN MOUNTAINS
THIS AFTERNOON.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

MOUNTAIN SNOW WILL BECOME WIDESPREAD LATE SATURDAY...AND WILL
LAST THROUGH MONDAY AS A SERIES OF DISTURBANCES PASS OVER THE
REGION. IN ADDITION TO THE SNOWFALL...STRONG WEST WINDS WILL
PRODUCE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW. SIGNIFICANT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS
ARE EXPECTED OVER THE CENTRAL AND NORTHERN MOUNTAINS...AND TRAVEL
OVER MOUNTAIN PASSES WILL BE AFFECTED. HIGHER AND NORTHERN
VALLEYS WILL ALSO RECEIVE ACCUMULATING SNOW. THE CHANCE FOR SNOW
WILL CONTINUE OVER THE NORTHERN DIVIDE MOUNTAINS ON TUESDAY AND
WEDNESDAY.
