...FREEZE WARNING IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 9 AM MDT
THURSDAY BELOW 8000 FEET...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GRAND JUNCTION HAS ISSUED A
FREEZE WARNING BELOW 8000 FEET...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT
TONIGHT TO 9 AM MDT THURSDAY. THE FREEZE WATCH IS NO LONGER IN
EFFECT.

* TIMING...FROM MIDNIGHT TO 9 AM MDT THURSDAY MORNING.

* TEMPERATURE...FALLING TO THE MID 20S TO LOWER 30S...WITH
  LOCALIZED AREAS POSSIBLY HITTING THE LOWER 20S IN THE WESTERN
  YAMPA RIVER BASIN.

* IMPACTS...TEMPERATURES BELOW FREEZING FOR SEVERAL HOURS WILL
  DAMAGE SENSITIVE VEGETATION. OUTSIDE WATER LINES COULD
  FREEZE...PRECAUTIONS TO PREVENT THIS SHOULD BE TAKEN AS SOON
  AS POSSIBLE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FREEZE WARNING MEANS SUB-FREEZING TEMPERATURES ARE IMMINENT OR
HIGHLY LIKELY. THESE CONDITIONS WILL KILL CROPS AND OTHER
SENSITIVE VEGETATION.

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EASTERN UTAH AND WESTERN
COLORADO.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

NUMEROUS SHOWERS WITH A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL OCCUR TODAY AND
THIS EVENING. IN THE HIGH COUNTRY ABOVE 9000 FEET...SNOW IS LIKELY
WITH ACCUMULATING SNOW OVER THE MOUNTAIN PASSES. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS
OF 2 TO 5 INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE AT OR ABOVE 9000 FEET. SLUSHY
OR SNOW PACKED ROADS IS LIKELY LATER TODAY AND TONIGHT. SNOW IS
EXPECTED TO END LATE TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

THE FIRST SEASONAL FREEZE IS LIKELY FOR MANY OF THE HIGHER
VALLEYS THURSDAY AND FRIDAY MORNING. OTHERWISE NO HAZARDOUS
WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
