This hazardous weather outlook is for eastern Utah and western
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A storm system will support valley rain and mountain snow through
late tonight. Some high mountain passes will become snow packed
making travel difficult. Thunder will be a possibility this
afternoon, mainly over the mountains of the Western Slope.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

A progressive weather pattern is in place so expect periods of
inclement weather through Monday. A cold winter storm system is
expected to pass over the forecast area beginning late Thursday
night persisting into Saturday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected today or tonight, however
spotters are encouraged to report snowfall amounts to the
National Weather Service in Grand Junction.
