This hazardous weather outlook is for eastern Utah and western
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

An upper level trough will move overhead today causing a small
uptick in convection. As this occurs, stronger winds are expected
to mix to the surface and gust to 25 to 35 mph. These winds, along
with low humidities and dry fuels, will cause critical fire
weather conditions to form. A red flag warning has been issued for
much of eastern Utah and western Colorado to account for this
behavior. Most areas will see plenty of sunshine, hot temperatures
with some gusty winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Another disturbance will move through tomorrow as well causing
another gusty day. No change to fuels or humidities is expected so
critical fire weather conditions are possible. A fire weather
watch has been issued to account for the possibility of red flag
conditions.

Thursday and beyond, high pressure builds in bringing a return to
more tranquil weather.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed.
