...HIGH FIRE DANGER OVER PORTIONS OF LINCOLN COUNTY TODAY...
...SNOW, BLOWING SNOW, AND SLICK TRAVEL CONDITIONS NORTHERN
COLORADO MOUNTAIN PASSES...

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Widespread windy conditions will continue today with gusts 50 to
60 mph across the mountains and foothills. Across the plains wind
gusts will be in the 40 to 50 mph range with a few higher gusts
over the Palmer Divide. Snow will continue in the mountains with
blowing snow and poor visibility over the higher passes.

The dry and windy conditions will create critical fire weather
conditions for southern Lincoln County.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

There will be snow showers and a few thunderstorms over the
mountains Wednesday and Thursday. Any snow accumulation will be
light. Meanwhile, the plains will be mostly dry Wednesday, and
then see a higher chance of light rain showers by Thursday.

For Friday through the weekend and into early next week, there
should be a gradual warming trend. No significant weather is
expected, with just a chance or slight chances of showers most
days.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
