THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHEAST AND NORTH CENTRAL
COLORADO.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP THIS
AFTERNOON. THE BEST CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS AND THE STRONGEST
STORMS WILL BE NORTHEAST OF A LINE FROM GREELEY TO LIMON. SOME OF
THE STORMS ARE EXPECTED TO BECOME SEVERE WITH LARGE
HAIL...DAMAGING WINDS AND A FEW TORNADOES WILL BE POSSIBLE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

IT WILL BE DRIER ON WEDNESDAY WITH JUST A SLIGHT CHANCE OF
THUNDERSTORMS IN THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING. THE THREAT OF SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS IS EXPECTED TO BE EAST OF COLORADO. ON THURSDAY AND
FRIDAY...A PACIFIC STORM SYSTEM WILL LIFT ACROSS THE STATE
BRINGING COOLER TEMPERATURES AND PRODUCING A BETTER CHANCE OF
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS FOR THE ENTIRE FORECAST AREA. THERE MAY
BE A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS EAST OF A AKRON TO LIMON
LINE THURSDAY AFTERNOON. WARMER TEMPERATURES SHOULD RETURN FOR THE
WEEKEND WITH JUST A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS EACH AFTERNOON
AND EVENING.

for the following rivers in Colorado...

  Cache La Poudre River near Greeley affecting Weld County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Persons with interests along these rivers are urged to use caution.
Avoid flooded areas and stay clear of river banks that could become
unstable due to the high flows.

The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a
* Flood Advisory for
  the Cache La Poudre River near Greeley.
* until Wednesday afternoon.
* At 10:30 AM Monday the stage was 7.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will hold steady through Wednesday morning.
* At 7 feet...minor overbank flow into low lying areas along the
  Cache la Poudre River between Windsor and Greeley.
