This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will be possible mainly this
afternoon and evening along the Continental Divide, the northern
Sangre de Cristo mountains, and in Teller, El Paso and Kiowa
counties. The main storm threats will be lightning and wind gusts up
to 50 mph, however some of the stronger storms may also produce
small hail. This evening there could be one or two severe storms
over El Paso and Kiowa counties, with hail around 1 inch in diameter
and wind gusts around 60 mph.

Some light snow accumulations of an inch or two will be possible over
the higher peaks along the Continental Divide and over Pikes Peak,
this afternoon and evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will be possible each day,
mainly in the afternoon and evening hours. The main storm threats
will be lightning and wind gusts up to 45 mph, but some stronger
storms may produce small hail. One or two severe storm will be
possible, mainly over the far southeast plains Friday, with hail
up to the size of golf balls and wind gusts around 60 mph being
the main threats.

Showers and thunderstorms over the mountains could produce light
accumulations of snow over the higher peaks.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Weather conditions that meet reporting criteria for spotters will be
possible this afternoon and evening along the Continental Divide,
the northern Sangre de Cristo mountains, and in Teller, El Paso and
Kiowa counties.
