THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT AND
SOUTHEAST NEW YORK.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

AN OFFSHORE STORM WILL LIKELY BRING A LIGHT ACCUMULATING SNOW TO
EASTERN LONG ISLAND AND PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT LATE
TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

A LIGHT ACCUMULATING SNOW IS EXPECTED MONDAY AS AN OFFSHORE LOW
SYSTEM PASSES WELL TO THE EAST. THERE IS STILL POTENTIAL FOR THIS
LOW TO TRACK CLOSER TO THE COAST...WHICH WOULD BRING POTENTIAL FOR
A MODERATE SNOWFALL.

THEN...ANOTHER LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM IS FORECAST TO DEVELOP ACROSS
THE MID-ATLANTIC STATES AND BRING THE POTENTIAL FOR MORE SNOW
MONDAY NIGHT AND TUESDAY. LINGERING LIGHT SNOW IS POSSIBLE TUESDAY
NIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY.

SNOWFALL ACCUMULATION FORECAST SPREAD REMAINS MODERATE TO HIGH
THROUGH THIS PERIOD...SO CONTINUE TO MONITOR THE LATEST NWS
FORECASTS.

SPOTTER ACTIVATION IS NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
