northeast New Jersey and southeast New York.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Hazardous Weather is Not Expected At This Time

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Low pressure passing south of Long Island late Friday night into
Saturday has the potential to bring heavy rain that would result in
flooding. At this time, the heaviest rain is forecast to stay south
of the local area, but this could change.

Flash and river flooding are not out of the question if the heaviest
area of rain with this system shifts over the local area.

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook provides a summary of potential
widespread hazardous weather events that may reach NWS warning
criteria. Most long fused NWS watches...warnings and advisories in
effect are highlighted.

Please refer to the latest NWS forecasts for weather not meeting NWS
warning criteria.
