  AREAS...IN DELAWARE...DELAWARE BEACHES...INLAND SUSSEX...KENT
  AND NEW CASTLE. IN NORTHEAST MARYLAND...CAROLINE...CECIL...
  KENT MD...QUEEN ANNES AND TALBOT. IN SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY...
  ATLANTIC COASTAL CAPE MAY...CAPE MAY...CUMBERLAND AND SALEM.
  IN SOUTHEAST PENNSYLVANIA...DELAWARE.

* UNTIL 4 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON

* WHILE THE HEAVIEST RAINS HAVE OCCURRED, THERE ARE STILL A FEW
  RISING STREAMS THAT MY EXCEED FLOOD STAGE IN THE WATCH AREA.
  ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AFTER 8 AM TODAY SHOULD BE GENERALLY LESS
  THAN HALF AN INCH.

* WIDESPREAD 48 HOUR TOTALS OF 3 TO 6 INCHES OCCURRED WITH A
  SMALL AREA OF 10-12 INCHES ACROSS FAR SOUTHEASTERN DELAWARE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

  SUSSEX COUNTY IN SOUTHERN DELAWARE...

* UNTIL 915 AM EDT

* AT 515 AM EDT...WIDESPREAD FLOODING CONTINUED ON MANY LOCAL
  ROADWAYS THIS MORNING. LOCAL CREEKS AND STREAMS CONTINUED TO RISE
  AS WELL. RAINFALL IS PARTS OF EASTERN SUSSEX COUNTY...NEAR
  HARBESON HAVE EXCEEDED 12 INCHES SO FAR OVER THE PAST 36 HOURS.
  NUMEROUS ROADS ACROSS THESE AREAS ARE CLOSED AND IMPASSABLE. DO
  NOT DRIVE IN THESE AREAS. THE NEXT HIGH TIDE ALONG THE COAST AND
  BACK BAYS RUNS FROM ABOUT 730 TO 930 AM. THE HIGHER THAN NORMAL
  TIDE WILL PROHIBIT OR SLOW DOWN DRAINAGE.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
  GEORGETOWN...MILFORD...SEAFORD...MILLSBORO...LAUREL...LEWES...

* RISK OF RIP CURRENTS...THERE IS A HIGH RISK OF DANGEROUS RIP
  CURRENTS THROUGH TONIGHT.

* TIMING...HIGH TIDE ON THE OCEAN FRONT IS EXPECTED BETWEEN 7 AND
  9 AM. HIGH TIDE ON THE BAY SIDE MAY OCCUR UP TO 2 HOURS LATER.
  THE HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THIS
  EVENING.

* IMPACTS...ROADWAY FLOODING IS EXPECTED NEAR THE TIME OF HIGH
  TIDE.

* SURGE...TOTAL WATER LEVEL WILL BE ONE TO TWO FEET ABOVE
  ASTRONOMICAL TIDES. HEAVY RAIN AT THE TIME OF HIGH TIDES COULD
