HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MOUNT HOLLY NJ

KENT-INLAND SUSSEX-DELAWARE BEACHES-WESTERN MONMOUTH-
EASTERN MONMOUTH-OCEAN-CUMBERLAND-ATLANTIC-CAPE MAY-
ATLANTIC COASTAL CAPE MAY-COASTAL ATLANTIC-COASTAL OCEAN-
SOUTHEASTERN BURLINGTON-
441 AM EST SUN FEB 7 2016

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR CENTRAL DELAWARE...SOUTHERN
DELAWARE...CENTRAL NEW JERSEY AND SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

A STRONG AREA STORM SYSTEM DEVELOPING ALONG THE SOUTHEAST COAST
TODAY IS CURRENTLY EXPECTED TO TRACK FAR ENOUGH EAST OF OUR AREA
TONIGHT TO KEEP THE MOST OF THE SNOW OFFSHORE. HOWEVER, IF THE
STORM TRACK SHIFTS FARTHER WESTWARD, THEN COASTAL LOCATIONS MAY
SEE LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS LATE TONIGHT INTO MONDAY MORNING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

ANOTHER AREA OF LOW PRESSURE WILL LIKELY BRING ACCUMULATING SNOW
TO THE REGION LATER MONDAY INTO TUESDAY NIGHT ALTHOUGH COASTAL
LOCATIONS IN SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY AND DELAWARE MAY RECEIVE A MIX OF
RAIN AND SNOW. A MAINLY LIGHT SNOWFALL IS FAVORED FOR THIS EVENT
BUT THERE REMAINS A POTENTIAL FOR LOCALLY HIGHER ACCUMULATIONS.

PLEASE CLOSELY FOLLOW UPDATES TO THE FORECAST OVER THE NEXT
COUPLE OF DAYS SINCE THERE IS STILL SOME UNCERTAINTY REGARDING
EXACT SNOWFALL AMOUNTS AND IMPACTS FROM THIS SYSTEM.

THE SECOND STORM MAY CAUSE TIDAL FLOODING AT TIMES OF HIGH TIDE
THAT COULD BE MINOR ON MONDAY AND MINOR TO POSSIBLY MODERATE IN
SPOTS TUESDAY.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION IS NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
