THE FLOOD WATCH IS NOW IN EFFECT FOR

* MOST OF NORTHEAST FLORIDA AND PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST GEORGIA.

* THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING

* 1 TO 3 INCH ADDITIONAL RAINFALL TOTALS ARE EXPECTED OVER MOST OF
  NORTHEAST FLORIDA AND COASTAL SOUTHEAST GEORGIA THROUGH
  WEDNESDAY MORNING...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER TOTALS POSSIBLY IN COASTAL
  NORTHEAST FLORIDA.

* SATURATED GROUND CONDITIONS IN THESE LOCATIONS...COMBINED WITH
  THE ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL OVERNIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY
  MORNING MAY RESULT IN FLOODING OF LOW LYING AND POOR DRAINAGE
  AREAS. TRAINING OF HEAVY DOWNPOURS AND EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS
  ACROSS COASTAL NORTHEAST FLORIDA OVERNIGHT MAY RESULT IN LOCAL
  STORM TOTAL AMOUNTS CLOSE TO 6 INCHES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLOOD WATCH MEANS THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR FLOODING BASED ON
CURRENT FORECASTS.

YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE ALERT FOR POSSIBLE
FLOOD WARNINGS. THOSE LIVING IN AREAS PRONE TO FLOODING SHOULD BE
PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION SHOULD FLOODING DEVELOP.

FLORIDA THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING...

...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORIES TONIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHT...

...MODERATE RISK OF RIP CURRENTS TODAY...

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHEAST FLORIDA...SOUTHEAST
GEORGIA AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

WIDESPREAD RAIN WILL OVERSPREAD THE AREA TODAY. LOCALLY HEAVY
RAINFALL WILL BE POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. EXPECT
RAINFALL TOTALS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES WITH ISOLATED HIGHER AMOUNTS NEAR 6
INCHES ACROSS NORTHEAST FLORIDA WHERE TRAINING WILL BE POSSIBLE. A
FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING.

ISOLATED STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS
NORTH-CENTRAL FLORIDA THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. DAMAGING WINDS
WILL BE THE PRIMARY THREAT ALTHOUGH AN ISOLATED TORNADO CANNOT BE
RULED OUT.

WINDS WILL INCREASE ACROSS THE COASTAL WATERS TONIGHT...WITH
A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IN EFFECT.

LINGERING EASTERLY SWELLS WILL RESULT IN A MODERATE RISK OF RIP
CURRENTS AT AREA BEACHES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY WILL CONTINUE FOR THE NEARSHORE WATERS
UNTIL 1 PM WEDNESDAY...AND FOR THE OUTER COASTAL WATERS UNTIL
4 AM FRIDAY.
