THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

.THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
High moisture over the area will be eroded as drier air works in
from the east today. There is a slight chance for showers mainly
northward from Kissimmee and Vero Beach this morning, but only a
small area of north Lake county and northwest Volusia county
should have a risk for isolated lightning storms this afternoon.

.RIP CURRENT IMPACT...
Easterly winds freshening to 10 to 15 mph will increase breaking
waves in the surf zone. This, along with a New Moon today, will
lead to a moderate rip current risk. Only swim in the ocean near a
lifeguard.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.
A trough of low pressure is forecast to move in from the Atlantic
Tuesday into Wednesday and bring increased chances for showers
and storms. Higher moisture will linger into the upcoming weekend
and bring a greater than normal chance for showers and storms.
Choppy surf conditions will persist into mid week and rip currents
should continue to pose problems into late week.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be needed today.
