...A RIVER FLOOD WARNING CONTINUES FOR...THE HILLSBOROUGH RIVER NEAR
ZEPHYRHILLS...CYPRESS CREEK AT WORTHINGTON GARDENS....THE ALAFIA RIVER AT
LITHIA...THE LITTLE MANATEE RIVER AT WIMAUMA AND THE ANCLOTE RIVER
AT ELFERS.

.HEAVY RAIN FROM YESTERDAYS COLD FRONT BROUGHT SEVERAL OF THE AREA RIVERS
AND CREEKS INTO FLOOD STAGES...OR WILL CAUSE FLOODING BY THURSDAY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

DO NOT DRIVE CARS THROUGH FLOODED AREAS...

* THE RIVER IS FORECAST TO RISE ABOVE FLOOD STAGE OVERNIGHT AND CONTINUE TO
  RISE TO NEAR 12.1 FEET BY THURSDAY AFTERNOON. THE RIVER IS EXPECTED TO
  FALL BELOW FLOOD STAGE BY EARLY FRIDAY MORNING.
* IMPACT...AT 13.0 FEET...THE CANOE RENTAL AREA FLOODS.
* FLOOD HISTORY...THIS CREST COMPARES TO A PREVIOUS CREST

  CONTINUE TO RISE TO NEAR 11.3 FEET BY EARLY SATURDAY MORNING. THE RIVER IS
  EXPECTED TO FALL BELOW FLOOD STAGE BY EARLY MONDAY MORNING.
* IMPACT...AT 11.0 FEET...HILLSBOROUGH RIVER STATE PARK IS CLOSED. LOWLAND
  FLOODING OCCURS AT THE MOBILE HOME PARK NEAR BRANCHTON ON STATE ROAD 579.
* FLOOD HISTORY...THIS CREST COMPARES TO A PREVIOUS CREST OF 13.2 FEET ON SEP 28

* THE RIVER WILL CONTINUE RISING TO NEAR 13.6 FEET BY AFTER MIDNIGHT.
  THE RIVER IS EXPECTED TO FALL BELOW FLOOD STAGE LATE THURSDAY MORNING.
* IMPACT...AT 13.0 FEET...RIVER DRIVE AND SQUIRREL RUN WAY DOWNSTREAM
  OF STATE ROAD 640 ARE COMPLETELY COVERED BY WATER. ONE HOME BEGINS
  TO FLOOD.
* FLOOD HISTORY...THIS CREST COMPARES TO A PREVIOUS CREST OF
  14.4 FEET ON AUG 29 2012.
