...High Risk of Rip Currents for the Palm Beaches...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Atlantic coastal waters,
southeast Florida, southern Florida, southwest Florida and Gulf of
Mexico.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Rip Currents: There is a high risk of rip currents for the Palm
beaches.

Temperatures: Heat index values will range between 98 and 101
degrees over interior areas this afternoon.

Fire Weather: Minimum relative humidity values may drop as low as 30
percent over interior areas this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

An elevated risk of rip currents will remain in place across the
Atlantic Coast beaches through the rest of the week and into the
upcoming weekend.

Temperatures will remain very warm for the end of the week and into
the upcoming weekend with peak heat indices around or over 100
degrees across portions of the area through Saturday.

Minimum relative humidity values may remain in the 30 to 35% range
for interior locations of South Florida through this weekend leading
to enhanced fire weather conditions.
