This hazardous weather outlook is for South Florida.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

Thunderstorms: Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are expected to
develop this afternoon, especially over interior South Florida. For
Glades, northern Hendry and northern Palm Beach Counties as well as
Lake Okeechobee, one or two of the thunderstorms could become severe.
The primary threat is wind gusts to 60 mph and cloud to ground
lightning.

as well as Lake Okeechobee, one or two of the thunderstorms could
become severe with wind gusts to 60 mph.

Waterspouts: Waterspouts could develop this afternoon over Atlantic
waters and Biscayne Bay.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

Scattered to numerous mainly afternoon thunderstorms are expected
each day, especially over interior South Florida. The primary threat
will be cloud to ground lightning.

Showers and thunderstorms will be increasing in coverage across
South Florida through the afternoon hours. The main threats with
the stronger storms will be frequent cloud to ground lightning,
gusty winds of 40 to 50 mph, and heavy rainfall, which could cause
ponding of water on roadways.
