This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for West Central And Southwest
Florida.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

...THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
Late this afternoon and evening a few showers and possibly a
thunderstorm could develop along the sea breeze, mainly from
around the Tampa Bay area northward along the Nature Coast.
Thunderstorms that develop will be capable of producing gusty
winds...locally heavy rainfall...and occasional deadly lightning
strikes.

...RIP CURRENT IMPACT...
Gusty winds and rough seas will result in a high risk of dangerous
rip currents at area beaches today.

...MARINE IMPACTS...
Wind speeds of 15 to 20 knots will create hazardous boating
conditions for small craft operators, mainly in the waters beyond
20nm of the coast.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

...THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
A weakening cold front will approach the region Monday and stall
across the area during Tuesday bringing a chance of more showers
and a few thunderstorms. Thunderstorms that do develop Monday
into Tuesday will be capable of producing gusty winds...locally
heavy rainfall...and occasional deadly lightning strikes.

During midweek the stalled boundary will lift north as a warm
front followed by a stronger cold front approaching and moving
across the region Thursday into Friday. There will be a better
chance of showers and thunderstorms with this cold front late in
the week. Thunderstorms that develop during this time will be
capable of producing strong gusty winds...hail...locally heavy
rainfall...and frequent deadly lightning strikes.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed today.
