.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

A WIND CHILL ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR NORTHEAST GEORGIA
UNTIL 10 AM.

AREAS OF BLACK ICE ARE POSSIBLE FOR NORTHEAST GEORGIA THIS
MORNING.

SOME SLICK SPOTS ARE POSSIBLE IN THAT AREA THIS MORNING AS
ANY RESIDUAL MOISTURE FREEZES ON THE ROADS.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...
A VERY COLD ARCTIC AIRMASS WILL MOVE INTO THE REGION ON SATURDAY
AND SOME OF THE COLDEST TEMPERATURES OF THE WINTER SEASON ARE
EXPECTED ON SUNDAY ACROSS ALL OF NORTH GEORGIA. SOME WINTER
PRECIPITATION IS POSSIBLE ON MONDAY INTO MONDAY NIGHT BUT IT IS
STILL TOO EARLY TO FORECAST WITH ANY ACCUMULATIONS WITH
CONFIDENCE.

* HAZARD TYPES...DANGEROUSLY COLD WIND CHILLS.

* LOCATIONS...NORTHEAST GEORGIA...MAINLY EAST AND NORTH OF
  CHATSWORTH TO DAWSONVILLE TO CLEVELAND.

* WIND CHILL READINGS...5 BELOW TO 5 ABOVE EARLY THIS MORNING.

* IMPACTS...VERY COLD WIND CHILLS WILL LEAD TO DANGEROUS
  CONDITIONS FOR EXPOSED SKIN.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WIND CHILL ADVISORY MEANS THAT VERY COLD AIR AND STRONG WINDS
WILL COMBINE TO GENERATE LOW WIND CHILLS. THIS CAN RESULT IN
FROST BITE AND COULD LEAD TO HYPOTHERMIA IF PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT
TAKEN.  IF YOU MUST VENTURE OUTDOORS...MAKE SURE YOU WEAR A HAT
AND GLOVES.
