THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT...

SCATTERED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE OVER NORTH GEORGIA THIS
EVENING.

A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS ASSOCIATED WITH AN UPPER LEVEL LOW PRESSURE
SYSTEM WILL MOVE SOUTH INTO NORTH GEORGIA THIS EVENING. WIND GUSTS
TO 50 MPH AND SMALL HAIL MAY BE POSSIBLE WITH THE STRONGER STORMS.
THE STORMS SHOULD AFFECT AREAS NORTH OF A CARROLLTON TO ATLANTA
TO GAINESVILLE LINE AND ARE EXPECTED TO WEAKEN AFTER 9 PM.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...

WINDS SHOULD INCREASE TO SUSTAINED 20 TO 25 MPH GUSTING UP TO 35
MPH FROM THE NORTHWEST THURSDAY MORNING THROUGH EVENING AND
POSSIBLY LINGER INTO OVERNIGHT FOR THE HIGHER NORTHEAST
ELEVATIONS. A WIND ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR 8 AM TO 11 PM
THURSDAY ACROSS ALL OF NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA.

WHILE A FEW SHOWERS COULD LINGER ACROSS THE FAR NORTHEAST
MOUNTAINS THURSDAY...EXPECT DRY CONDITIONS THROUGH THE PERIOD
UNTIL NEXT TUESDAY AS A LOW END CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS RETURNS
PRIMARILY TO NORTH GEORGIA.
