THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

...ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS TODAY...

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

THE ACTIVITY WILL REMAIN ISOLATED TODAY WITH THE MAIN HAZARD BEING
HEAVY RAINFALL FROM SLOW MOVING STORMS. RESIDENTS SHOULD BE ALERT
FOR MINOR LOCALIZED FLOODING OF MAINLY POOR DRAINAGE AREAS FROM
ANY STORMS THAT FORM TODAY. MOTORISTS SHOULD SLOW DOWN AND BE
PREPARED FOR POSSIBLE LOSS OF CONTROL DUE TO HYDROPLANING. WHEN
WATER COVERS THE ROAD REMEMBER...TURN AROUND...DO NOT DROWN.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...

ABUNDANT TROPICAL MOISTURE WILL CONTINUE TO STREAM NORTHWARD INTO
MAINLY EXTREME SOUTHEAST SECTIONS OF THE FORECAST AREA FOR MUCH
OF THE WEEK. THE DEEP MOISTURE WILL BRING A POTENTIAL FOR LOCALLY
HEAVY RAINFALL AND CONTINUED MINOR LOCALIZED FLOODING.
ELSEWHERE...LOWER STORM CHANCES WILL BE PRESENT WITH OCCASIONAL
CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING BEING THE MAIN CONCERN.

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NEEDED THROUGH TONIGHT.
