...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southwestern
Cherokee, northern Cobb and southeastern Bartow Counties through 315
AM EDT...

At 224 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was over Oak Grove, or 8 miles
north of Marietta, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Up to 40 mph wind, pea sized hail and frequent cloud to
         ground lightning.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
         light, unsecured objects.

Marietta, Canton, Mountain Park, Kennesaw, Woodstock, Acworth, Holly
Springs, Emerson, White Water Park, Sweat Mountain, Kellogg Creek,
Red Top Mountain State Park, Oak Grove, Kennesaw State University,
Little River Landing, George Washington Carver St Pk, Lebanon, Sandy
Plains, Sutallee, and Hobgood Park.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North and Central Georgia.

.DAY ONE...Tonight...

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected this evening,
mainly across the eastern half of the forecast area. A few strong
storms will be possible with small hail, locally heavy rainfall,
gusty winds, and frequent lightning.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday...

Additional showers and thunderstorms are expected Sunday and
Monday. Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are
possible generally across portions of north Georgia Tuesday and
Wednesday, with scattered thunderstorms returning to the rest of
the forecast area by Thursdsay and Friday.
