This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North and Central
Georgia.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight...

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and
evening. The primary hazard will be lightning, along with some gusty
winds.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday...

There is a chance of thunderstorms Friday and Saturday, mainly during
the afternoon and evening. The primary hazard will be lightning,
along with some gusty winds.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time Sunday through
Wednesday.

...CODE ORANGE AIR QUALITY ALERT IS IN EFFECT FOR ATLANTA FOR
Thursday September 21...

The Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Environmental
Protection Division has issued a Code Orange (Unhealthy for
sensitive groups) Air Quality Alert for Atlanta for
Thursday September 21.

Under Code Orange conditions, the outdoor air quality is likely to
be unhealthy for some people. Children, people who are sensitive to
ozone, and people with heart or lung disease should limit prolonged
outdoor exertion during the late afternoon or early evening when
ozone concentrations are highest.
