THE COMBINATION OF COLD AIR SPREADING DOWN FROM THE NORTH AND
MOISTURE ASSOCIATED WITH AN UPPER LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM PUSHING
ACROSS THE TENNESSEE VALLEY... WILL BRING A CHANCE FOR A MIX OF
RAIN AND SNOW ACROSS PARTS OF NORTH GEORGIA LATE TONIGHT AND EARLY
ON SATURDAY.

LIGHT RAIN COULD CHANGE OVER TO A MIX OF RAIN AND SNOW BETWEEN
MIDNIGHT AND 4 AM SATURDAY MORNING... AND THIS MIX COULD PERSIST
THROUGH MID TO LATE SATURDAY MORNING. A COMPLETE CHANGE OVER TO
BRIEF PERIODS OF MAINLY FLURRIES IS POSSIBLE... HOWEVER... LITTLE
TO NO ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED FOR AREAS OUTSIDE OF THE WINTER

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT...

A STRONG UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL MOVE THROUGH THE SOUTHEAST
STATES OVERNIGHT AND EARLY SATURDAY. THIS SYSTEM WILL BRING COLD
TEMPERATURES AND A MIX OF RAIN AND SNOW TO THE NORTHEAST GEORGIA
MOUNTAINS TO THE NORTHEAST GEORGIA MOUNTAINS OVERNIGHT. A FEW
FLURRIES MAY MAKE IT AS FAR SOUTH AS THE NORTHERN SUBURBS OF
ATLANTA.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR THE NORTHEAST GEORGIA
MOUNTAINS AFTER MIDNIGHT.

A FREEZE WARNING IS IN EFFECT AFTER 2 AM FOR AREAS ALONG AND NORTH
OF A LINE FROM CHATTOOGAVILLE TO DAWSONVILLE TO CLEVELAND.

THE FREEZE WARNING FOR NORTH GEORGIA WILL CONTINUE THROUGH 11AM
SATURDAY MORNING. THE ABNORMALLY COLD TEMPERATURES BEHIND THE
UPPER LEVEL SYSTEM ARE EXPECTED TO CONTINUE INTO SUNDAY MORNING.
A FREEZE WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH
EARLY SUNDAY MORNING FOR AREAS NORTH AND WEST OF A LINE FROM
CORDELE TO OCONEE TO WADLEY.

WINDS WILL ALSO INCREASE BEHIND THE UPPER LEVEL SYSTEM ON
