  INTERSTATE 20 CORRIDOR IN NORTH GEORGIA INCLUDING THE METRO
  ATLANTA AREA THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON...WITH SLIGHTLY LOWER
  AMOUNTS ELSEWHERE. ANOTHER ROUND OF GENERALLY LIGHT TO MODERATE
  RAIN IS EXPECTED ACROSS NORTH GEORGIA OVERNIGHT TONIGHT...WITH
  ANOTHER HALF INCH OF RAIN ANTICIPATED BEFORE TAPERING OFF
  MONDAY AFTERNOON.

* FLOODING OF LOW LYING...POOR DRAINAGE AREAS IS LIKELY...ALONG
  WITH THE POTENTIAL FLOODING OF SEVERAL FLOOD PRONE RIVERS AND
  STREAMS...ESPECIALLY ACROSS NORTH GEORGIA.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLOOD WATCH MEANS THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR FLOODING BASED ON
CURRENT RAINFALL FORECASTS COMBINED WITH ANTECEDENT CONDITIONS.

YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE ALERT FOR POSSIBLE
FLOOD WARNINGS. THOSE LIVING IN AREAS PRONE TO FLOODING SHOULD BE
PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION SHOULD FLOODING DEVELOP.

GEORGIA THROUGH MONDAY MORNING...

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...
PERIODS OF MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN THAT COULD CAUSE MINOR RIVER
AND NUISANCE FLOODING. REFER TO THE FLOOD WATCH /ATLFFAFFC/ FOR
MORE INFORMATION.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...

THE NEXT SYSTEM WILL BRING INCREASING MOISTURE INTO NORTH GEORGIA
THURSDAY NIGHT. TEMPERATURES ACROSS SOME MOUNTAIN LOCATIONS COULD
BE BELOW FREEZING THURSDAY NIGHT AS THE RAIN BEGINS PRODUCING
FREEZING RAIN. THIS COULD MAKE A FEW ROADS SLICK.

SOUTHERLY FLOW WILL BRING IN WARMER AND MORE UNSTABLE AIR WHICH
MAY PROVIDE THE NECESSARY ENERGY FOR THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT
FRIDAY NIGHT AND SATURDAY. TRENDS WILL BE MONITORED AS THE EVENT
DRAWS CLOSER FOR THE POTENTIAL STRENGTH OF THESE STORMS LATE
FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY.
