This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northwest Iowa,
west central Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, and
southeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Expect greatly reduced visibilities with blizzard or near
blizzard conditions, especially in open areas through late evening
before light snow ends. Travel will be very difficult. Conditions
will improve later tonight as snow ends and winds diminish.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

...BLIZZARD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CST
TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Blizzard conditions occurring. Travel will be very
  dangerous.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest and west central Iowa and
  southwest Minnesota.

* WHEN...Until midnight CST tonight.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds gusting as high as 40 mph will cause
  very low visibility in blowing snow. Significant drifting of
  the snow is likely.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Blizzard Warning means severe winter weather conditions are
expected or occurring. Falling and blowing snow with strong winds
and poor visibilities are likely. This will lead to whiteout
conditions, making travel extremely dangerous. Do not travel. If
you must travel, have a winter survival kit with you.  If you get
stranded, stay with your vehicle. The latest road conditions for
the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.
