Little Sioux River at Cherokee affecting Cherokee County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Little Sioux River at Linn Grove.
* WHEN...From this evening to early Tuesday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 18.5 feet, the city park in Sioux Rapids is flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 17.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this evening to a crest of 19.0 feet Saturday morning.
It will then fall below flood stage early Monday.
- Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
