This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Isolated thunderstorms are possible this afternoon mainly in
northwestern Illinois. Although the chance for severe storms
currently appears low, if these storms do manage to develop into
the Outlook Area they may be able to produce hail and gusty winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

There will be a chance for frost across portions of northwestern
Illinois late Wednesday night and into Thursday morning.

Rounds of Thunderstorms are possible Thursday night through
Sunday. The storms on Friday have the potential to be strong to
severe. However, their strength is tied to the placement of a warm
front and there is still some uncertainty on where this front
will be located on Friday. After that, Sunday afternoon and
evening may be the next best chance for severe storms. Heavy
rainfall and eventual flooding may accompany these storm chances
through the upcoming weekend.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY: East to southeast at 30 MPH.

There is a very low chance that spotter activation will be needed
this afternoon.
