Although the chance for severe storms currently appears low, if these storms do manage to develop into the Outlook Area they may be able to produce hail and gusty winds. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY There will be a chance for frost across portions of northwestern Illinois late Wednesday night and into Thursday morning. Rounds of Thunderstorms are possible Thursday night through Sunday. The storms on Friday have the potential to be strong to severe. However, their strength is tied to the placement of a warm front and there is still some uncertainty on where this front will be located on Friday. After that, Sunday afternoon and evening may be the next best chance for severe storms. Heavy rainfall and eventual flooding may accompany these storm chances through the upcoming weekend. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY: East to southeast at 30 MPH.
