This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

Fog is likely tonight over much of the outlook area. The fog may
be dense with visibilities below one quarter mile.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

Monday and Tuesday, there is a chance of thunderstorms. Limited
instability will keep any storms below severe levels. Rainfall
totals may exceed 1 inch. This could pose minor water issues due
to the frozen ground. There will also be a risk of break up ice
jams on area rivers as temperatures rise well above freezing.

...Slick Roads and Fog Overnight...

Temperatures have dropped below freezing this evening. This has
caused some slick spots to develop on area roads with lingering
moisture from today`s snowfall. Motorists should be prepared for
slick travel conditions through the overnight hours.

Fog is also expected to develop overnight, especially in areas
with lingering fresh snow cover. Visibilities below a half mile
are possible at times. The fog could also deposit a thin layer of
ice on roads and contribute to the travel concerns.
