THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL
ILLINOIS...NORTHWEST ILLINOIS...WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS...EAST
CENTRAL IOWA...NORTHEAST IOWA...SOUTHEAST IOWA AND NORTHEAST
MISSOURI.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

LIGHT SNOW IS LIKELY LATE TONIGHT ACROSS THE AREA. WITH THE WARM
GROUND AND TEMPERATURES NEAR FREEZING OVERNIGHT, AROUND AN INCH
OR LESS OF SNOW IS POSSIBLE. THIS ACCUMULATING SNOW IS MOST LIKELY
ON GRASSY AND RAISED SURFACES. SOME SLUSHY ROADS MAY BE POSSIBLE
LATE TONIGHT AS WELL.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

SUNDAY...A FAST MOVING UPPER DISTURBANCE WILL PRODUCE A WET SNOW OR
WET SNOW/RAIN MIX IN THE SOUTH IN THE MORNING BEFORE ENDING OR CHANGING
TO MOSTLY RAIN BY MID AFTERNOON. AN INCH TO 2 PLUS INCHES MAY ACCUMULATE
MOSTLY ON GRASSY AND ELEVATED SURFACES...MAINLY NORTH OF HIGHWAY 34.
ROADS MAY BE SLUSHY NORTH OF HIGHWAY 34 IN THE MORNING HOURS. SINCE
THE GROUND AND SURFACE TEMPERATURES WILL BE ABOVE FREEZING...MOST OR
POSSIBLY ALL OF THE WET SNOW MAY MELT BY LATE AFTERNOON.

WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY...AN UPPER DISTURBANCE IS EXPECTED TO BRING SOME
LIGHT SNOW TO THE OUTLOOK AREA. THE HEAVIER MODERATE PRECIPITATION
AMOUNTS AT THIS TIME FORECAST TO BE SOUTH AND EAST OF THE REGION. THIS
SYSTEM IS STILL DYNAMIC WITH CONTINUED CHANGES POSSIBLE. INTERESTED
INDIVIDUALS SHOULD MONITOR THIS PRODUCT FOR FURTHER UPDATES AS POTENTIAL
IMPACTS TO OUR AREA BECOME CLEARER.

THURSDAY AND FRIDAY MORNING...BRISK NORTHWEST WINDS AND COLD TEMPERATURES
WILL PUSH WIND CHILLS TO NEAR TO POSSIBLY BELOW ZERO FOR SEVERAL HOURS.
