ILLINOIS...NORTHWEST ILLINOIS...WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS...EAST
CENTRAL IOWA...NORTHEAST IOWA...SOUTHEAST IOWA AND NORTHEAST
MISSOURI.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

DENSE FOG WILL CONTINUE THIS MORNING OVER PORTIONS OF EASTERN AND
NORTHEASTERN IOWA. VISIBILITIES UNDER 1/4 MILE WILL COMBINE WITH
ROAD FROST...TO BRING HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS. THE FOG IS
EXPECTED TO DISSIPATE THROUGH 9 AM. THE FROSTY ROADS WILL ALSO BE
FOUND OVER LOCATIONS THAT ARE NOT SEEING FOG THIS MORNING. ANY
ROAD WITH FROST, WILL BE SLICK.

RAIN AND A FEW EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON
AND EVENING. STRONG STORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED. LATER TONIGHT...MORE
FOG IS EXPECTED TO FORM...AND DENSE FOG APPEARS POSSIBLE.

AREA RIVERS ARE EXPERIENCING FLOODING. PLEASE SEE THE
LATEST FLOOD STATEMENTS AND FLOOD WARNINGS FOR DETAILS.

...Slick frosty roads and patchy dense fog early this morning...

Patchy dense fog, with visibility under 1/2 mile at times will
continue to through the early morning hours. In addition, road
frost has formed, making for slick conditions, and longer than
normal stopping distances. This combination of patchy dense fog
and slick roads will be hazardous, and motorists should use extra
caution.
