...HIGH STREAM FLOWS IN SOUTHERN OWYHEE COUNTY...

RIVERS CREEKS AND STREAMS CONTINUE TO RUN STRONG ACROSS PARTS OF
SOUTHERN OWYHEE COUNTY...PARTICULARLY IN THE BRUNEAU AND JARBIDGE
RIVER BASINS. ABOVE AVERAGE HIGH ELEVATION SNOWPACK REMAINS IN
THESE WATERSHEDS AND A WARMING TREND THIS WEEKEND AND EARLY NEXT
WEEK WILL ACCELERATE SNOWMELT.

WATER LEVELS SHOULD BE MONITORED AS THE INCREASED SNOWMELT MAY
LEAD TO FLOODING ISSUES ALONG SMALL RIVERS CREEKS AND STREAMS IN
UPPER PORTIONS OF THE BRUNEAU AND JARBIDGE WATERSHEDS.

IF YOU HAVE PLANS TO UTILIZE BACKCOUNTRY ROADS NEAR THE NEVADA
BORDER IN SOUTHERN OWYHEE COUNTY...BE AWARE THAT UNPAVED ROADS MAY
BE QUITE MUDDY OR IMPASSABLE AT TIMES.
