...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW...

.A PACIFIC WEATHER SYSTEM WILL BRING LIGHT TO MODERATE AMOUNTS OF
SNOW THURSDAY THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING IN THE VALLEYS AND
THURSDAY THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT IN THE MOUNTAINS... WITH HEAVIER
AMOUNTS POSSIBLE AT HIGHEST ELEVATIONS.

WESTERN MAGIC VALLEY-CAMAS PRAIRIE-SOUTHERN TWIN FALLS COUNTY-
824 AM MST WED DEC 7 2016

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THURSDAY
TO 5 AM MST FRIDAY...

* SNOW AMOUNTS...2 TO 4 INCHES IN THE MAGIC VALLEY AND 3 TO 6
  INCHES ON THE CAMAS PRAIRIE AND SOUTHERN TWIN FALLS COUNTY.

* SNOW LEVELS...3000 TO 6000 FEET.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL BEGIN LATE THURSDAY MORNING AND TAPER OFF
  THURSDAY EVENING... EXCEPT SNOW SHOWERS COULD CONTINUE THROUGH
  THE NIGHT ON THE CAMAS PRAIRIE.

* IMPACTS...SNOW ACCUMULATION ON ROADS WILL MAKE DRIVING
  DIFFICULT AND TREACHEROUS... ESPECIALLY DURING THE THURSDAY
  AFTERNOON COMMUTE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW
WILL PRIMARILY CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW
COVERED ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE
DRIVING.
