THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

  Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

Valley. As the low passes to the east, strong winds will shift
from southwesterly to northwesterly, with gusts up to 30 mph
through the evening. A few higher gusts will be possible early
this evening. Precipitation will transition to a band of lake
effect snow overnight, with the band initially along the Illinois
shore of Lake Michigan and then transition to northwestern Indiana
overnight. Some snow accumulation is possible, with up to an inch
possible over far northeastern Illinois and 1 to 2 inches over
northwestern Indiana. Highest amounts should be closer to Lake
Michigan.
