NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
  ELEVATED THUNDERSTORM RISK...WITH AN ASSOCIATED:
      LIMITED HAIL RISK...UP TO DIME SIZE.
      LIMITED THUNDERSTORM WIND DAMAGE RISK...UP TO 60 MPH.
  LIMITED EXCESSIVE HEAT RISK.

DISCUSSION:

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON WEST OF A MENDOTA TO
ROCKFORD LINE. THUNDERSTORMS INCREASE IN COVERAGE TONIGHT
THEN SPREAD EAST ACROSS ALL OF NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND
NORTHWEST INDIANA. A FEW COULD BECOME MARGINALLY SEVERE LATE
TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

SUNDAY...
  LIMITED FLOODING RISK.
  LIMITED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM RISK.
  LIMITED EXCESSIVE HEAT RISK.

MONDAY AND TUESDAY...
  HIGH SWIM RISK DEVELOPING LATE MONDAY.

THURSDAY AND FRIDAY...
  LIMITED THUNDERSTORM RISK.

AIR POLLUTION ACTION DAY WILL BE DECLARED FOR THE GREATER CHICAGO
METROPOLITAN AREA FOR SATURDAY JUNE 25TH. COUNTIES
INCLUDED ARE COOK...DUPAGE...KANE...KENDALL...GRUNDY...LAKE...
MCHENRY AND WILL.

AN AIR POLLUTION ACTION DAY IS DECLARED WHEN WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE
SUCH THAT WIDESPREAD OZONE AND OR PARTICULATE LEVELS ARE EXPECTED TO
BE AT OR ABOVE THE UNHEALTHY FOR SENSITIVE GROUPS CATEGORY OF THE
AIR QUALITY INDEX.

ACTIVE CHILDREN AND ADULTS ESPECIALLY PEOPLE WITH PULMONARY OR
RESPIRATORY DISEASE SUCH AS ASTHMA SHOULD LIMIT PROLONGED OUTDOOR
ACTIVITY.

PARTICIPANTS IN THE...PARTNERS FOR CLEAN AIR PROGRAM...ARE REQUESTED
TO INITIATE THEIR ACTIVITIES. RESIDENTS ARE ALSO URGED TO REDUCE
