NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

SNOW WILL WILL CONTINUE SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 80 INTO THE AFTERNOON
WHERE ADDITIONAL LIGHT ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

A STORM SYSTEM WILL AFFECT THE REGION MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY.
DEPENDING ON THE EVENTUAL TRACK AND INTENSITY IT COULD BRING THE
THREAT OF EITHER RAIN AND POSSIBLE FLOODING FROM SNOW MELT...OR
POSSIBLY ACCUMULATING WINTRY PRECIPITATION.

PATCHY DENSE FOG WAS DEVELOPING ACROSS PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL
AND NORTHEAST ILLINOIS EARLY THIS MORNING...GENERALLY ALONG AND
NORTH OF THE INTERSTATE 88 CORRIDOR...WHERE SKIES HAD CLEARED
OVERNIGHT. PATCHY DENSE FOG...WITH VISIBILITY LESS THAN A QUARTER
OF A MILE AT TIMES...CAN BE EXPECTED EARLY THIS MORNING ACROSS
THESE AREAS. IF TRAVELING ACROSS NORTH CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST
ILLINOIS WEST AND NORTH OF CHICAGO EARLY THIS MORNING...BE
PREPARED FOR PATCHY DENSE FOG AND RAPIDLY CHANGING VISIBILITY.
BE AWARE THAT SOME ROAD SURFACES MAY BE SLICK FROM DENSE FOG IN
FREEZING TEMPERATURES...PARTICULARLY ELEVATED SURFACES AND BRIDGE
DECKS.
