DISCUSSION...

Areas of dense fog are likely early this morning, mainly near and
south of I-88 in Illinois and across northwest Indiana.

There is a slight chance of a thunderstorm this afternoon south of
the Illinois and Kankakee Rivers.

There is a chance of locally dense fog along the Lake Michigan
shore late this afternoon and tonight, especially the Illinois
shore.

MORNING...

* WHAT...Areas of dense fog with visibility locally less than
  one quarter of a mile.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, north central and
  northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

* WHEN...Until 9 AM CDT this morning.

* IMPACTS...Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Due to the patchy nature of the fog,
  motorists should be prepared to encounter sudden dramatic
  reductions in visibility.
