THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE AT TIMES INTO TONIGHT
ACROSS NORTHWESTERN INDIANA AND PORTIONS OF NORTHEASTERN ILLINOIS.
THE SNOW COULD BE MIXED WITH RAIN NEAR THE LAKE. ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE IN THE RAIN OR SNOW RESULTING IN
HEAVY PRECIPITATION THROUGH EARLY THIS EVENING. ISOLATED AREAS
COULD SEE 1 TO 3 INCHES OF SLUSHY ACCUMULATION...MAINLY ON GRASSY
SURFACES.

FINALLY...STRONG WINDS ARE LIKELY THROUGH THIS EVENING WITH GUSTS
OF 35 TO 45 MPH LIKELY...THOUGH ALONG THE NORTHWEST INDIANA AND
CHICAGO LAKE FRONT GUSTS OF 50 TO 60 MPH ARE EXPECTED. VERY LARGE
AND BATTERING WAVES WILL RESULT IN DANGEROUS CONDITIONS NEAR THE
LAKE AND MINOR LAKE SHORE FLOODING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NECESSARY THROUGH TONIGHT.
