THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Flooding is expected along portions of the Fox, Rock, and
Pecatonica Rivers.

In addition, dangerous swimming conditions are expected at Lake
Michigan beaches.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Wednesday and Thursday...
  Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

In addition, dangerous swimming conditions are expected at Lake
Michigan beaches Saturday.

Finally, flooding is expected along portions of the Fox, Rock,
and Pecatonica Rivers.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Safety message...If you encounter a flooded roadway...turn around and
find an alternate route.

* At  715 PM Thursday the stage was 13.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
  Monday afternoon.
* Impact...At 13.0 feet...Minor lowland flooding begins near river.

* until further notice.
* At  730 PM Thursday the stage was 11.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.5 feet.
* Recent activity...Flood forecasts for Algonquin were moved to this
  location on July 5 2011. Gage zero datum is different from the old
  gage location. Flood and action stages have changed.
* Moderate flooding is occurring.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to a stage of 11.3 feet
  by Saturday morning.
