THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

DENSE FOG WILL BE SEEN NEAR THE LAKE SHORE THIS MORNING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

THERE IS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND
MORE SO THURSDAY...THEN A CHANCE MAINLY SOUTH OF A PONTIAC
ILLINOIS TO GARY INDIANA LINE THURSDAY EVENING. A FEW OF THE
STORMS THURSDAY AND THURSDAY EVENING SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 80
MAY BE STRONG.

THERE IS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS AGAIN ON MONDAY.

INCLUDING THE CITIES OF...WAUKEGAN...CHICAGO...GARY...VALPARAISO

...DENSE FOG NEAR THE LAKE SHORE EARLY THIS MORNING...

DENSE FOG WILL CONTINUE THROUGH MID MORNING NEAR THE LAKE SHORE
IN LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES IN NORTHEAST ILLINOIS...INCLUDING PARTS
OF DOWNTOWN CHICAGO AND LAKE SHORE DRIVE...AS WELL AS LAKE AND
PORTER COUNTIES IN FAR NORTHWEST INDIANA...WHICH INCLUDES PARTS OF
INTERSTATES 80...90...AND 94. THE FOG WILL REDUCE VISIBILITY TO
ONE QUARTER MILE OR LESS IN PLACES NEAR THE LAKE SHORE. BECAUSE
THE COOL MOIST AIR FROM THE LAKE IS HELPING TO GENERATE THE
FOG...FURTHER INLAND ANY FOG IS EXPECTED TO BE LIGHT.

THOSE TRAVELING NEAR THE LAKE SHORE SHOULD PREPARE FOR EXTRA
TIME DURING THIS MORNINGS COMMUTE AND SHARPLY REDUCED
VISIBILITY...MAKING TRAVEL TEMPORARILY HAZARDOUS. IF ENCOUNTERING
DENSE FOG BEHIND THE WHEEL...SLOW DOWN AND LEAVE PLENTY OF SPACE
BETWEEN THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF YOU.
