THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

  WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

   ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS...THE STRONGEST OF WHICH
   MAY PRODUCE:
    WIND GUSTS TO 60 MPH.
    OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING.
    LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL.

  AREAS AFFECTED AND TIMING:

   ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL OCCUR ACROSS NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND
   NORTHWEST INDIANA THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING.

   SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS NORTHERN ILLINOIS
   AND NORTHWEST INDIANA LATE THIS EVENING AND OVERNIGHT.

  DISCUSSION:

  SHOWERS AND A FEW ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL OCCUR THROUGH THE
  AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING. HIGH MOISTURE CONTENT WILL RESULT
  IN ANY STRONGER STORMS PRODUCING MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINFALL. A
  COLD FRONT WILL APPROACH FROM THE WEST TONIGHT. AHEAD OF THIS
  FEATURE...HEAVY RAIN...AND STRONG WIND GUSTS ARE POSSIBLE AS
  WIND SHEAR STRENGTHENS AHEAD OF THE FRONT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

HIGH WAVES WILL LIKELY CREATE HAZARDOUS SWIMMING CONDITIONS
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY ACROSS NORTHWEST INDIANA AND NORTHEAST
ILLINOIS BEACHES.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION MAY BE NEEDED LATE THIS EVENING AND
TONIGHT...BUT IS UNLIKELY.
